Carl Enell is Chief Operating Officer at HI-Bio. He brings over 20 years of biotech and pharmaceutical experience from strategic and operational roles in North America and Europe. Carl has led teams to execute numerous licenses, acquisitions, financings, and research and development partnerships. He also held roles in new products planning and marketing for several approved products. 

Prior to joining HI-Bio, Carl was Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at Assembly Biosciences. Previously, he was an Executive Director in the Corporate Development team at Gilead Sciences, also working in the global marketing group. He began his career at Merck & Co. where he worked in the commercial organization and licensing group. Carl holds an MSc degree in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University School of Business.
