Joyce Liaw is Vice President of Finance at HI-Bio. Prior to joining HI-Bio, Joyce was Senior Director of Finance at Genentech, where she was accountable for the collective output of finance contributors supporting more than 30 R&D programs ranging from early development through Phase 2. While at Genentech, Joyce held numerous roles across R&D finance, business development finance, investor relations and manufacturing finance.

Before working at Genetech, Joyce worked at Burill & Company, a biotech venture capital firm and at Evolva SA, a biotech nutrition startup. She has a BS in Biology from the California Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
