Lorna Dean is Senior Vice President of Development Operations at HI-Bio. She has over 25 years of industry experience handling large cross-functional and international teams. She has extensive expertise building successful organizations, identifying opportunities for company growth, and bringing important drugs to market.  

Prior to HI-Bio, Lorna began her career in academia at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Cornell Medical Center before moving to Amgen where her roles spanned Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Supplier Management, Technical Services, and Quality Assurance. Following her time at Amgen, she worked as the Vice President of Global Development Operations at Theravance providing oversight to Clinical Operations, Data Management, Medical Writing, Supplier Management, Clinical Trial Liaisons, and the Trial Master File. Most recently, Lorna joined Principia BioPharma as Vice President of Clinical Trial Management prior to acquisition by Sanofi. She holds an MPA from New York University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
