Matthew Albert is Chief Translational Offer at HI-Bio. He is a trained immunologist and clinical pathologist. Before joining HI-Bio, Matthew was the Senior Vice President and Head of Biology and Translational Genetics at insitro, Head of Reverse Translational, Cancer Immunology at Genentech and Director of the Immunology Department at Institut Pasteur. His prior research on and contributions to drug discovery have embraced the power of a bedside-to-bench approach in scientific discovery.

Matthew obtained his PhD from The Rockefeller University, MD from Weill Cornell Medical College, Residence and Fellowship Training at The New York Presbyterian Hospital.
